Information and Consultation Session: An Inclusionary Zoning Framework for Ottawa and Ontario

Hosted by Carleton University’s Centre for Urban Research and Education (CURE), in collaboration with the Alliance to End Homelessness Ottawa and the Ontario Ministries of Municipal Affairs and Housing, an information and consultation session will take place in Ottawa on Tuesday, August 9 (program from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.).

  • Hear an overview of the proposed legislation from officials with the Ministries of Municipal Affairs and Housing.
  • Offer input on potential matters that may be considered by the Minister for possible future inclusionary zoning regulations, while hearing from officials on what they have heard to-date.
  • Join local stakeholders from the private and non-profit sectors for a continuing discussion on a viable inclusionary zoning framework for Ottawa.
